A highly regarded international freight forwarder based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, is recruiting for a skilled air freight professional to join their busy freight forwarding team on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start available.\nThis is a full-cycle air export role covering everything from quoting and booking through to customs clearance, documentation, and final delivery. If you have a proven background in air freight export operations and thrive in a fast-paced freight environment, this could be the perfect move.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING\nManaging end-to-end air export shipments from initial booking through to final delivery\nPreparing and processing export documentation including AWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations\nEnsuring compliance with IATA guidelines, international shipping regulations, and customs requirements\nProviding freight quotations and supporting the team with customer enquiries\nCoordinating with airlines, overseas agents, transport providers, and warehouse teams\nBooking cargo space and monitoring flight schedules to meet time-critical deadlines\nTracking shipments and providing proactive customer updates throughout the export process\nResolving operational issues including delays, documentation queries, and customs matters\nMaintaining accurate shipment records and supporting smooth internal communication\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nProven experience in air freight export operations essential\nStrong working knowledge of customs procedures, export compliance, and air freight documentation\nConfident handling time-critical shipments in a pressured, deadline-driven environment\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\nHigh attention to detail with strong organisational and time management ability\nExperience with freight forwarding systems and relevant software is advantageous\nSALARY & BENEFITS\n£32,000 per annum\nCompany bonus scheme\nPension\nDeath in service cover\nSupportive team environment with a well-established freight forwarding business
